Primitive Folk Art Frogs Pond Original Painting on Reclaimed Cedar

New product

Primitive Folk Art Original Painting! This painting is done on a piece of old reclaimed 1/4" red cedar wood. I thought that the grain looked like ripples in a pond, and the knot on the left side looked like a rock. So I painted the pond blue, left the shoreline the natural wood-tone, grass all around. Then I painted Jeremiah, (the frog out of water,)with his yellow eyes and belly.

Primitive Folk Art Original Painting! This painting is done on a piece of old reclaimed 1/4" red cedar wood. When I looked at this board I thought that the grain looked like ripples in a pond, and the knot on the left side looked like a rock. So I painted the pond blue, left the shoreline the natural wood-tone, and painted green grass all around. Then I painted Jeremiah, (the frog out of water,)with his yellow eyes and belly, perched on the rock knot. Then his little green friend Jeremeina, (the frog in the water,)swam up to check on him. The rusty wire and old wood gives it a great rustic feel. Add funky folk art to your decor while still keeping that rustic primitive feeling. The board measures 7 1/8" long and 4" tall. I attached a rusty wire hanger to the top of the board. It is sealed, signed, numbered, and dated.
