More info

This native american wolf is painted on a background in shades of Light Teal and White with Lime Green, Bright Turquiose, and Tomato Red cross hatching to make a faint pattern in the background and painted some stars in the background in shades of white. The salvaged plywood panel has a lot of character with cracks and old nail holes from it's original use as a shed roof. So I enhanced the look of them with a wash of black paint and water. The panel also has cracks and knots showing under the paint witch adds a great rustic feel. In native american culture, the wolf is a symbol of loyalty, friendliness, strength, and intelligence. I painted him in a wide range of colors including White, Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Bright Turquoise, Lime Green, and Lemon Yellow. The sides of the panel have been painted black to add a finished framed look. This Native American Folk Art Wolf Painting measures 20" wide and 18" tall and 1/2" thick. The back has a keyhole slot hanger cut into it, so it's ready to hang flush against your wall. I retain all copyrights.
