Primitive Urban Wall Box Folk Art Birds on a Branch Shabby Green Paint. We constructed this primitive urban decor wall box from 1/4" thick reclaimed red cedar. I painted this box a light yellow lime green color called Lemon grass over a base of a gray green which shows through in the hand rubbed distressed areas along with some natural wood tones. The rustic roughsawn texture of the cedar boards provides lots of character for this hand rubbed treatment. On the front of this box I painted two birds on branches in shades of blue with black wings. This wall box measures approximately 9 1/4" tall, 4 1/2 wide and 3 1/2" deep. A hole is drilled in the top of the back for hanging as shown in the pictures. Signed on the bottom and sealed with a protective water based sealer. We retain all copyrights. Sky Rain
