Original Primitive Folk Art Birds on a Wire Urban Chic Painting

Urban Chic Original Primitive Folk Art Birds on a Wire Painting by Iris Rain. This Urban Chic Original Primitive Folk Art Birds on a Wire Painting is done on a 3/16" thick reclaimed Cedar board that we planed smooth. This board had a line of lighter wood grain down the middle of it, which made me think of a wire with birds setting on it. So that is where the concept of this painting came from. I added some soft black shading to that wood grain line then perched little birds in various colors and poses on the line. I added some fluffy clouds to the top of the painting. The background is natural cedar wood. This Urban Chic Original Primitive Folk Art Birds on a Wire Painting measures 4" tall and 12 1/4" long. I sealed it with a protective water based sealer, numbered and dated it. The painting has a rusty wire hanger attached so it's ready for your wall. I retain all copyrights.
